Welcome to our website! Kids of the Crown Child Development Center is a ministry of Crown of Life Lutheran Church. It is our mission to share the Gospel message of Jesus' love with the children and families that we serve.
We are licensed by the State of Texas and care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age and have been in operation for over 17 years. It is our goal to provide quality Christian childcare and encourage each child to develop to their full potential through developmentally appropriate activities and faith-based curriculum.
We teach and encourage the children to make good choices and to develop caring relationships with their classmates and their teachers. Cooperation and teamwork are a very important part of each day.

Kids of the Crown was started in the fall of 1994 by the Crown of Life congregation. They saw a need in the community for quality Christian childcare and have sought to fill that need ever since. The original name of the program was Crown of Life Childcare and it was licensed in 1995. Several Directors have served over the years, but in 1999 the current Director, Cindy Hadley moved to Rowlett when her husband accepted the call as Pastor to Crown of Life Lutheran Church.
The program has continued to evolve over the last 13 years and has become more than just a daycare. We offer a very strong Pre-Kindergarten program as well as some part-time programs for families who do not need daily care. Infant care is also available as well as afterschool care for schoolage children.
The goal has always stayed the same...to provide the best quality Christian childcare in Rowlett and to support families as they raise their children in the Lord. Our Christian curriculum and faith based teaching is supported by weekly Chapel services and participation in Mission projects with an eye on serving the Lord by helping others.
